Your story deserves more than a standard ceremony.
It deserves someone who'll listen, truly understand what matters to you, and craft words that feel like they were written just for you, because they were.
I'm Sarah, and I create bespoke ceremonies for life's most meaningful moments. Whether you're saying "I do," welcoming a new life, or saying goodbye to someone you love, I'll help you mark the occasion in a way that's authentically, unmistakably YOU.
After 30 years in retail banking, I know a thing or two about attention to detail. But what really drives me is connection with people, with personal stories, with those moments that shape our lives. I've experienced love found later in life, faced unexpected challenges on what should have been the happiest day, and learned that the most meaningful ceremonies are the ones that honour who we truly are.
Why Choose a Celebrant?
Because your ceremony should be about you—not about ticking boxes or following someone else's script.
If you choose me to be your celebrant, you get:
-
Freedom
Complete freedom to choose your venue. It could be a favourite woodland, your family home, a beach where you got engaged, anywhere that matters to you
-
A ceremony that tells your story...
...your real story, with all its beautiful quirks and details
-
Flexibility with format
Include music, readings, symbolic rituals, laughter, or quiet reflection
-
Someone who genuinely cares
I'll take time to know you and create something meaningful, not something off the shelf
Whatever the occasion, I’m here to help shape a ceremony that feels truly yours. Whether it’s a wedding, (you'll just need to do the legal bit separately), a ceremony to honour a new chapter in life, or a heartfelt farewell, your story and your love sit at the centre of it all. I’m here to listen, to hold it gently with you, and to help shape a moment that feels intimate, meaningful, and beautifully yours. Together, we’ll make it something wonderful.
A Little About Me
I came to celebrancy after three decades in retail banking. This was a career I loved until changes gave me the gift of reimagining what comes next. What I discovered is that the best parts of my old life were always the people: their milestones, their stories, the moments that mattered.
My own journey has taught me about resilience. I found love during a pandemic, got married later in life, and faced serious illness the day before our wedding. Those experiences showed me what really matters. And it is not perfection. It's authenticity, connection, and celebrating the life you have, exactly as it is.
I bring that same attention to detail I honed in finance, but with warmth and empathy at the heart of everything I do. I don't do cookie-cutter ceremonies. I create something that's unmistakably yours.
Ready to Start Planning?
Let's have a chat over a cuppa (and hopefully cake) about your ceremony. No pressure, no sales pitch—just a conversation about what you're dreaming of and whether we're the right fit.
